A standoff lasting nearly 20 hours ended Monday morning, with the suspect, Michael Davis, surrendering to police.  Jaclyn Cangro has more from the Halfmoon Heights community, where the standoff took place.

CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. -- A standoff at Halfmoon Heights in Clifton Park is now over.

Police say that a man, Michael Davis, came out of the home and surrendered to authorities shortly after 8 a.m. Monday.

The nearly 20 hour standoff began after police say Davis, fired several shots inside a home in the development, then fired at police Sunday night, prompting them to fire tear gas into the home.

According to police, this all started as a domestic dispute.
