SCHENECTADY, N.Y. -- A man was hospitalized after a shooting near State and Hulett Streets in Schenectady around 2 p.m. Wednesday.
The victim was taken to the hospital, and there's no word from police on his condition.
Police say they're still looking for the shooter.
"On this busy road, I mean you can see people walking around right now, so we do want to find out exactly what occurred. We're looking through cameras, we're looking through everything there, but if anybody has any details, no detail is too small at this point," said Nick Mannix, of the Schenectady Police Department.
State police helicopters circled the area following the shooting, looking for the shooter.
