ALBANY, N.Y. -- UAlbany police have arrested a man after an on-campus rape was reported early Sunday morning.

University police arrested 25-year-old Franklin Casatelli, who is not a UAlbany student, just hours after the reported rape.

In an alert to students on campus, officers said Casatelli entered a student's residence in Stuyvesant Tower without her permission and engaged in sexual intercourse with her, without her consent, at around 4 a.m. on Sunday.

He is charged with rape and burglary.
