SPECTRUM NEWS VIDEO: Holy Trinity and Stillwater met in the Class C Championship game last year with the Pride getting the better of the Warriors.  Coming into this regular season matchup we knew Stillwater was going to be looking for revenge.  The Warriors were looking good early on.  They had a 14-7 lead at the half and had held Holy Trinity to just 7 total yards of offense.

But with how explosive the Holy Trinity offense is, no lead is safe.  That showed in the 3rd quarter and the Pride quickly came down on the opening possession and scored to tie things at 14.  After a defensive stop the Pride were quick to strike again.  Joe Torello hit Nacier Hundley on a screen pass and he did the rest going 40 yards to the endzone.  Suddenly the Pride had the lead.

"When we just got in the locker room everyone was just getting pumped up." said Junior quarterback Joe Tortello. "We had to move the ball consistently, the defense had to step up and I feel like everyone did that.".

Stillwater would tie it up but Holy Trinity quickly regained the lead in the 4th on a 10 yard touchdown from Nelon Priest.  Holy Trinity sealed the win with an 80 yard touchdown from Tortello to Hundley.

"We had to tweak little things to get Nacier the ball quicker" said Head Coach John Barber. "As soon as he gets the ball, one person isn't going to tackle him in the open so we just let him go".

Holy Trinity locks up the Central Division title with the win.  Now they gear up for the playoffs starting next week.
