SPECTRUM NEWS VIDEO: When two schools are in such close proximity to one another its only natural they develop a rivalry.  That's the case with Glens Falls and Queensbury, two schools separated by just 3 miles.  It looked like it might be a one sided game early on, but Glens Falls put together a big rally in the 2nd half.  Still it was the Spartans of Queensbury staying undefeated with a 48-34 win over Glens Falls.

"It means a lot.  All rivalry weeks you're just 100 percent focused Monday to Saturday."  said Senior running back Liam O'Mara. "Coming into the game we knew what was up, they're a good football team.  we just knew we had to give it our absolute all."

O'Mara had a big game on the ground rushing for more than 200 yards for the Spartans.  Head Coach Matt Crossman credits a lot of that success on the ground to the play of the line.

"Couldn't be more proud of our horses up front.  Offensive and defensive line just did a great job reading and reacting to the different motions"

Queensbury improves to 4-0, they're on the road at Gloversville next weekend.  Glens Falls will look to bounce back at home against Johnstown.
