SPECTRUM NEWS VIDEO: Coming into Friday, Averill Park and La Salle was expected to be a close game but it was the Warriors who took control right from the start.  Averill Park built up a 16-0 lead by halftime and kept adding on in the 2nd half.

"I think we came out strong, believe we stayed focused all the time and executed as best we could" Said senior running back Carl Nitz.

The Warriors added touchdowns from Carl Nitz and Jake Bornt to make it 30-0.  La Salle would finally get on the board when Christian Luizzi connected with Cole Gorleski for a big touchdown but it was too little too late.

"We had a great crowd, that gave us the momentum coming out, the motive all week was hit first, hit hard, and see what they do" said Senior wide recevier Jake Bornt.

Averill Park improves to 4-0 on the season.  Next up the Warriors are on the road to face Columbia.  La Salle falls to 1-3.  They return home to face Ichabod Crane next week.
