SPECTRUM NEWS VIDEO: Coming into Friday nights game Guilderland was 1-1 while Bethlehem was 2-0. This one was a low scoring affair with Guilderland holding a 14-0 lead in the 3rd quarter. That's when Michael Gitto hit Vin Lia on a screen pass and he did the rest making it a 21-0 lead. Bethlehem did have a bit of a comeback in them Alex Shudt and Martelle Derek both ran for touchdowns to make it 21-12. However Guilderland's defense was able to hang on and the Dutchmen improve to 2-1 on the season. Bethlehem suffers its first loss of the season falling to 2-1.
Guilderland returns home next weekend looking for its third straight win. The Dutchmen host Niskayuna Friday night.
