All-state teams have been announced in high school baseball, and Section II is well represented.

In Class AA Ballston Spa's Luke Gold has been named 1st team All-State Shortstop. Gold, a junior last season and already committed Boston College, helped the Scotties make a nice run in the Sectional Tournament where they lost in the title game to Columbia.

In Class A, Queensbury won their first ever State Tournament this season. At the helm longtime head coach Jay Marra was named Coach of the Year in Class A. The Spartans also led by senior Noah Edwards was named 1st team All-State Pitcher.

In Class B Ben Seiler and Jonny Decker from Albany Academy have been named to the 1st team.

Maple Hill's Nick Butler made the All-State 1st team in Class C.

And in Class D, Fort Plain's Brady Fureno and Bryce Thibodeau were selected to the 1st team.
