Siena men's basketball head coach Jimmy Patsos is denying allegations made against him amid an investigation into his program.

Patsos held a press conference with his attorney, Dick Walsh, Friday afternoon. He denied the allegations that he verbally abused a team manager, as first reported by the Albany Times Union. Patsos acknowledged the manager in question has OCD, but that the manager asked not to be treated differently than other members of the program.

Walsh has told Sports Director Marisa Jacques that a Title IX officer is looking into those harassment claims.

There are also claims that per diem vouchers were improperly used. Walsh says that is under investigation by the NCAA.

Patsos said he "adores" the members of the basketball program and takes the allegations seriously.

Siena tells Spectrum News it had no involvement in Friday's press conference.
