The Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative this week announced a plan that will cut back on power plant pollution through 2030. The goal of the new plan is to reduce power plant carbon pollution by 30-percent in that time frame. New York is part of the agreement, as one of the nine states that made a promise to fight climate change after President Trump withdrew the U.S. from the Paris Agreement earlier this year. Peter Iwanowicz of Environmental Advocates joins me now to discuss this plan.
