Iron Roost offers new spin on waffles

SPECTRUM NEWS VIDEO: At Iron Roost, waffles are not just for breakfast.

From the banans foster to salmon BLT, Iron Roosts serves five types of waffles -- sweet, savory, vegan, gluten free and liege.

Graphic designer turned restaurateur Linnaea Dinallo got the idea to open a waffle themed restaurant after a fateful trip to New York City.

Iron Roost is located at 36 Front Street in Ballston Spa.

Hours: 7 a.m. - 2 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday
