One supermarket worker had a grocery competition in the bag today.

Cashiers from across the state competed at the ShopRite in Slingerlands to see who could bag groceries the quickest.

There were two rounds of competition and three winners were chosen.

First place went to a Price Chopper competitor from Canton. She says she does not always show off her skills on customers.

"I don't think I bag that fast at the store because people would look at me like I was crazy, but it's good to have the speed — that's what I'm proud of," said Erin Pierce, from Canton, NY.

It does not end there. She will move on to represent her store and compete in the National Best Bagger Championship in San Diego, California, in February.
