ESTERO, Fla. — President Donald Trump made his entrance into Hertz Arena in Estero around 7:30 on Halloween night, for his first stop of many in the coming week.

He was the first speaker to take the stage and spoke about the county’s low unemployment rate and what hit witnessed in Pittsburg following the synagogue shooting.

President Trump introduced Rick Scott to the packed arena stating that he will "keep the Florida boom in full swing."

The two shared a hug before Scott commended the president for his willingness to help with the aftermath of Hurricane Michael.

"There's not a morning I haven’t asked Donald Trump (for help) with regard to the hurricane where he hasn’t come through," Scott said.

Ron DeSantis took the stage soon after, and spoke about his plans for Florida as well as his opponents track record as mayor of Tallahassee.

The president exited the stage after making comments about his plans to end birthright citizenship.

The song "You Can't Always Get What You Want" played in the background.
