New York Attorney General Barbara Underwood announced the takedown of a drug trafficking ring, alleged to have operated starting from Albany and flowing throughout parts of Saratoga and Warren counties.

The attorney general's office reported 30 people were under arrest, with 205 charges in total.

The indictments were unsealed today in Saratoga County Court. State and local law enforcement agencies partnered in the over-a yearlong investigation.

AG Underwood said two Albany-based ring leaders — Tremel Rosario and Matthew Malu — led the ring in bringing cocaine, heroin, and other drugs from Albany to dealers further north.

There are no updates yet on any pleas or trial dates for the 30 people accused in the drug conspiracy.
