People from across the state gathered in Albany to tackle the topic of sexual assault on campus.

Hundreds of representatives from colleges, medical professions, and police departments, met Wednesday morning for the third annual Enough is Enough seminar — a panel aimed to improve the approach to campus incidents of sexual misconduct.

One representative said their presentations at college campuses across the state, have resulted in people coming forward about their experiences.

"There have been occasions even recently, after giving the presentations, someone [came] forward and [reported] something that has  happened to them. They recognize now that something they were going through [was] a problem, and they want to help get it resolved," said Ed Marecek, senior investigator with Sexual Assault Victims Unit.

Presentations during the seminar also taught forensic interviewing, gender barriers, and cultural consciousness.
