The details are still coming together surrounding President Trump's visit to Upstate New York on Monday, but we do know that he will start his trip at Fort Drum.

Trump is expected to sign the "National Defense Authorization Act" and visit with members of the 10th Mountain Division while in town.

This new law will allow for all military personnel to get a 2.6 percent salary raise.

With the military playing such a big role in Watertown, it's something many are looking forward to.

The more pressing matter is his endorsement of Congresswoman Elise Stefanik. President Trump recently vowed to campaign six or seven days a week this fall for vulnerable Republican candidates.

Stefanik is facing a challenge from democrat Tedra Cobb.
