A teenager is dead after crashing a pickup truck in the Town of Ancram.
The Columbia County Sheriff's Office tells us a 16-year-old Ancramdale boy was driving on Over Mountain Road last night, when he lost control around a bend. The truck ran off the road, and hit a tree.
The young driver was pronounced dead at the scene. No passengers were in the truck.
What led to the accident is still under investigation.
