QUEENSBURY, N.Y. — Two men were severely burned in an explosion and fire in Queensbury Thursday.

Fire Chief Adam Norton says the department was called out around 4:30 p.m. to the home on Country Club Drive.

Two men were working on a motorcycle in the garage, but it's unclear what sparked the fire.

One victim was airlifted for treatment, the other taken by ambulance.

"The one gentleman who was working in the garage, from what I understand, was on fire when he came out, and the other gentleman who went in to retrieve him also had some burns,” said Norton.

Two kids home at the time were not hurt and made it out safely.

Norton says it appears the home will be a total loss.
