ALBANY, N.Y. — Albany police continue to investigate a fatal shooting from this weekend, the Capital City's eighth homicide of the year already.
Police say 31-year-old Kahlil Barnes of Albany was found with gunshot wounds inside a vehicle in the area of First and Quail Streets around 12:30 a.m. Saturday.
Barnes was taken to Albany Medical Center where he later died.
This latest shooting extends again a run of violence in Albany, including over ten people shot since July 3, one of them fatally, along with one person killed in a stabbing.
