The Saratoga County Sheriff's Office has arrested a man, saying he hit a 3-year-old child in the face.
Investigators say Clayton Shea of Clifton Park struck his girlfriend's child, causing injuries that were treated in the Saratoga Hospital emergency room.
Shea was taken into custody, and charged with third-degree assault, and endangering the welfare of a child.
He was arraigned and placed behind bars, pending bail.
