MENANDS, N.Y. -- The Mohawk Hudson Humane Society hopes three new technologies will help get more pets adopted.

A GoPro has been donated by Sunmark Federal Credit Union to help volunteers conduct behavioral assessments and make videos of available animals. STEADfast IT of Saratoga is providing technology for daily live streams of cats.

Capital Pet is a skill developed by tech company Voiceter Pro to help connect people with information about animals and the humane society using voice assistants like Amazon's Echo. The humane society is the first nationwide to have its own skill.

"It's just going to raise awareness, raise visability and save more lives," said Todd Cramer, Mohawk Hudson Humane Society's president and CEO.

More information on these technologies, and a link to the Kitty Cam, can be found on the humane society's website.
