ALBANY, N.Y. — Albany police say a 38-year-old man is dead after a shooting on Clinton Street near Second Avenue Sunday.
Authorities say he was shot around 1:40 p.m. and that he was taken to Albany Medical Center, where he died from his injuries.
Albany Police Public Information Officer Steve Smith says it's still very early in the investigation, and encourages anyone with information to come forward.
"Someone always knows, so we're just asking that person or those people to give the Albany police a call with information and they can use Crime Stoppers to provide that anonymous tip," said Smith.
Police say a tip that leads to an arrest in the case may be eligible for a cash reward.
