A drug ring take-down ends with 14 people facing charges.

'Operation Dirty Deeds' resulted in an 84-count indictment.

According to Attorney General Eric Schneiderman, it targeted drug sales in the Capital Region.

It was part of the SURGE initiative to crack down on drug distribution rings in suburban and Upstate New York

The felony charges for the 14 people include conspiracy, possession and sale of drugs as part of a narcotics trafficking network.

Schneiderman says the nine-month operation was carried out by members of local law enforcement from across the Capital Region, state police and the US Marshals Service.
