HILLSDALE, N.Y. — State Police say one person is dead after a crash in Hillsdale Saturday afternoon.

Troopers say the crash happened just after 1 p.m. on State Route 22 near Sawyer Road.

Investigators say a car going south crossed over into oncoming traffic and hit another car.

They say 63-year-old Donna Segschneider was pronounced dead at the scene — she was a passenger in the car that was hit.

The driver of the car that was hit was airlifted to Albany Medical Center.

There is no word on the condition of the other driver.
