A Hudson Falls man is facing charges after officials say he kidnapped a woman and her 3-year-old child.
The Warren County Sheriff's Office says 21-year-old Miguel Medrano-Garcia abducted the two after a domestic dispute Saturday, drove them to a hotel in the town of Queensbury, and told the woman to rent a room for the night.
They say the woman then called 911 from the hotel lobby.
Officials say when they arrived; Medrano-Garcia locked his vehicle's doors with himself and the child inside. After a physical altercation, he was taken into custody.
Medrano-Garcia is facing a slew of charges including kidnapping, endangering the welfare of a child, and menacing.
He was arraigned and sent to the Warren County Correctional Facility.
