Proud athletes returned home Monday night from the Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang.

At Albany International Aiport, members of the USA Luge team returned, some decked out in red, white and blue.

While they didn't come home with medals, they said it was a thrill just to support their American teammates.

Most of the olympians said the Opening Ceremony were the most thrilling part of their experience.

"There's really nothing like Opening Ceremonies and being part of the U.S. delegation. It's an electrifying feeling and it will never get old, and if that's the last one I get to do, I'm excited I Got to do it again," said Jayson Terdiman.

Walking out to Gangham Style was fun and more importantly was walking out with such an elite group. I had my best friends and I call them family because we've grown up together so long my teammates, and my teammate Erin Hamlin was flag bearer, and we were all behind her and it was a really sweet moment, and it kind of slowed down and it was really fun to walk in Opening Ceremonies," said Taylor Morris.

Moving forward, some of the team members say they will relax on vacation and spend time with family and pets.
