ALBANY, N.Y. -- We already knew there were a lot of superheros at Albany Medical Center. Now, they have the appropriate attire.

The Joy in Childhood Foundation dropped off new hospital gowns for pediatric patients. Appropriately, this year's starlight gown is made to look like a superhero costume.

It's a way for some of the hospital's youngest patients to think of something beside their treatment. They also got a chance to submit their own designs for next year.

"Kids all over the country are actually coming up with next year's gown, which will be voted on and launched nationally next year," said Eric Stensland, integrated marketing manager for Dunkin' Brands.

The Joy in Childhood Foundation has distributed about 10,000 gowns to children across the country.
