Smooth sounds filled The College of Saint Rose as musicians made use of new equipment on campus at the Rose Record Label Gala.

Rose Record Label is a student-run music label at the college.

Students and alumni took to Jack’s Place Stage to showcase all the talent making music at the college.

"We have this gala every year to celebrate the musicians," said Alexa Berry. "We're really here to help the artists grow."

Guests got a chance to buy a record from one of the artists, cut right in front of them.

The record-cutting opportunity was made possible by the Les Paul Foundation, which provides grants to educators in the music field.
