A New York State employee aboard a flight from JFK to Syracuse earlier this month threw a fit because she was seated next to a mother and her crying baby. The woman's behavior was caught on camera, and she has since been suspended.

Rochester native Marissa Rundell says the woman repeatedly used profanity and threatened the flight attendant because she wouldn't provide a different seat.

The video has gone viral with over a million views.

The woman has been identified as Susan Peirez, a program director.

At one point, Peirez demands the flight attendant's name, adding "You may not have a job tomorrow."

Peirez was eventually removed from the flight.

The council released a statement in response to the episode.

“State employees are and must be held to the highest standard both professionally and personally. We were notified of this situation and have commenced an investigation. This employee has been removed from the office and placed on leave until further notice and until the inquiry is resolved."
