A Cohoes man who admitted to killing a man during a Father's Day Barbeque in Albany is sentenced to 20 years to life in prison.

Richard Duckett pleaded guilty to murder in December.

The Albany County District Attorney's Office says Duckett admitted to shooting 46-year-old Terrance Roberts twice during a barbecue on Delaware Street back in June.

Investigators say there was a fight between two women leading up to the shooting.

They say those women, Jasmine and Brittany Mingo, helped Richard Duckett get away from the shooting and appeared in court last month.
