DALLAS, Texas – A 4-year-old deaf child from North Texas had the excitement of a lifetime on Monday afternoon.

Jace Lee heard music for the first time thanks to the Dallas Mavericks Drumline and Harlem Globetrotters star Handles Franklin.

The Mavericks teamed up with the Globetrotters as Lee learned Globetrotter tricks while hearing the sounds of the drums through his cochlear implant at the Mavericks' practice facility. In addition, Franklin provided courtside seats for Lee and his family to see the Globetrotters at the American Airlines Center this Saturday, Jan. 27.

The memorable moment was captured on video. Watch below: (Video courtesy of Harlem Globetrotters)
