Albany Police are investigating a late night shooting on Hudson Avenue.
Police say a 33-year-old man was shot in the elbow and foot around 11:30 Wednesday night while walking near Dove Street and Hudson Avenue.
They say the victim told police that four men approached him, punched him and stole his wallet.
A struggle with the suspects led to shots fired, hitting the victim.
He was taken to Albany Medical Center, but police say this is not a random incident.
Anyone with information is asked to call police or submit a tip to the Capital Region Crime Stoppers.
