SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. -- In Saratoga Springs, it truly is beginning to look a lot like Christmas.

"It's been a long time in coming. Just love it. Really do. It's a winter wonderland up here today," said one Saratoga resident.

But maybe not everywhere you go. While Albany and the greater Capital Region saw only a sparse amount of snow, Saratoga could have been mistaken for the North Pole, and not just because of the holiday cheer.

"Oh I love it. I'm going home to shovel right now. Best part of the day shovel snow, but if you catch me in two weeks I'll be miserable because it gets tedious," said another Saratoga resident.

But for now, residents of the Spa City can enjoy a tree in the Grand Hotel, and one in the park as well.
