COHOES, N.Y. — Donations continue to pour into the city of Cohoes after a devastating fire took down three buildings and damaged nearly 30 more on November 30.

Black Cat Ale House hosted a fundraiser all day on Sunday.

John Turner, the bar’s owner, says Black Cat has been accepting clothes and other donations for the past week.

Local DJs raffled off several items and gift cards, with all proceeds benefitting the people affected by that historic fire on Remsen Street.

Turner says he’s happy Sunday's event finally came into fruition.

"We also have a bunch of donations from people, going to try to help raise some money so that way we can help people get back on their feet. We’ve been working on this for a whole week, trying to get people on board so we can have a good turnout, putting a lot of effort into, we’re ready to go," said Turner.

The bar’s owner says 10 percent of Sunday’s sales will go to Cohoes fire victims.
