SPECTRUM NEWS VIDEO: Crews responded to a house fire in Amsterdam early Monday morning.  

The fire started in the first floor of a home on Guy Park Avenue. The fire was so intense that it moved quickly to the second floor and then shot out of the roof.

Officials say no one was in the home at the time, and no firefighters were injured due to the fire.

The home is a total loss, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
