RALEIGH -- A 24-year-old man is charged in connection with a shooting at a Raleigh mall Monday evening.

Police say Damien Lyons is accused of opening fire in the parking lot of Crabtree Valley Mall.

Lyons is charged with discharging a weapon into a moving vehicle as well as going armed to the terror of people.

Mall officials say all stores remained open during the shooting incident and investigation.

An employee of Best Buy said he was outside when he heard several gun shots and believes he saw a man run away toward the road next to Barnes and Noble.

He says he thinks the suspect was shooting at a moving car that was in the parking lot.

No injuries were reported.
