TROY, N.Y. -- A vacant home in Troy was heavily damaged after a fire broke out early Sunday morning.

Officials say the fire started around 3:45 a.m. at a home on 4th Avenue.

It took firefighters about an hour to get the flames under control.

Firefighters believe the home has been vacant for a few years.

Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the fire and would not indicate if the fire is being considered suspicious.
