GLENVILLE, N.Y. -- Plans for a large-scale apartment complex along the Mohawk River in Glenville have been withdrawn.

The decision was announced during the Glenville Town Meeting Wednesday night.

The application for the Alplaus Marina came in August from the Prime Companies.

Alplaus wanted the town to support their application for Payment in Lieu of Taxes, or PILOT tax credits, but Town Supervisor Chris Koetzle (R) said no.

Koetzle says now they're trying to come up with a new plan for the space.

"We have to come together now and figure out what's best for this piece of property and try to work together on developing it in the future," Koetzle said.

The Prime Companies pulled their application for the project on Tuesday.
