Following a recent Leader Herald article that discussed members of the Ku Klux Klan living in Fulton County, community members united on Sunday to spread a positive message.

A group called Glove Cities Huddle met in Johnstown to discuss community relations. Organizers wanted residents to have an opportunity to talk with one another and plan future community outreach events.

A few miles down the road in Gloversville at the Elm Street Pavilion, residents gathered to talk about peace and hear inspirational music.

Gloversville Mayor Dayton King attended both events.

"Gloversville and Fulton County is a great place to start a business, to buy homes, and to just be a part of the community," said King. "Love each other. Love your neighborhood. I think it's really simple."
