Albany police have made an arrest in the city's second shooting in less than a week.

Kurtis Raleigh, 23, was arrested Friday in connection with the shooting of a 37-year-old man.

They say Raleigh broke into the man's apartment on Central Avenue around 8 p.m. Thursday and tried to steal some property -- before he shot him in the neck.

The victim was treated and released from Albany Medical Center.

Raleigh is now in police custody. He faces attempted murder and burglary charges.

Police say they don't think this is related to the fatal shooting of a man this past weekend on Sherman Street.
