DEC Forest Rangers say they found a personal item belonging to missing hiker Alexander Stevens near the summit of Wallface Mountain.
That's where the 28-year-old was last seen on September 2. He also signed in at the trail register at the Upper Works Trailhead, a few miles from the remote Adirondack peak in the town of Newcomb.
Forest Rangers, state police and volunteers have been searching for the New Jersey man since Sunday.
