SPECTRUM NEWS VIDEO: A treasure trove of history, uncovered at the oldest home in the city of Albany. The first archeological dig at the Van Ostrande-Radliffe house ended on Tuesday with Historic Albany and archeologists from Hartgen showing off their discoveries to officials from the State Historic Preservation Office. The home at 48 Hudson Avenue is the oldest in Albany, built in 1728, but it looks far different from its original Dutch architecture. The ultimate goal is to restore the facade of the building and find a business to inhabit it.
