According to the Saratoga County Sheriff's Office, the body of a missing Wilton woman has been located.
Deputies say the body of 20-year-old Christine Lee was found in the woods west of Route 9 in Wilton around noon Thursday.
"We were hoping we would have found her alive," said Saratoga County Sheriff Michael Zurlo. "I want to extend my condolences on behalf of myself, the members of the Sheriff's Department and the Forest Rangers to Christine's family."
Lee was reported missing last Friday. She was last seen wearing pajama pants and had no shoes on.
"She left that Friday morning at about 3:30. Her mother saw her go out the front door," Zurlo said. "She just had pajama bottoms on, no shoes, no upper clothing, so we were concerned from the onset."
Officials continue to investigate, but say there don't appear to be any suspicious circumstances. Results from an autopsy being conducted at Albany Medical Center are expected to be available Friday afternoon.
