SPECTRUM NEWS VIDEO: Troy experienced three big fires in the 19th century, with the biggest one in 1862. It destroyed hundreds of buildings, but the city rebuilt, starting with the W. & L.E. Gurley building. Today, that building is a national historic landmark, and it's one that people would like to see preserved as part of the comprehensive plan.
