BALLSTON SPA, N.Y. -- For many, there are only a few good reasons to wake up at the crack of dawn and the Saratoga Balloon and Craft Festival may be one of them.
People had a chance to watch more than 20 hot-air balloons of all shapes and sizes take flight before sunrise this weekend.
Although Sunday was a bit too windy for the Balloons to continue day-long flight, about 10,000 people visited the Saratoga County Fairgrounds for the weekend-long event.
Along with balloon rides, attendees were able to ride horses, get their faces painted and enjoy live entertainment.
"I really like the music," Craft Producers owner Tim Cianciola said. "I know t hat people think the balloons and the crafts are the big draw but I like the music. And I get to book it!"
This was the third year the festival was in Saratoga.
