GLENS FALLS, N.Y. -- The 21-year-old man accused of killing a Glens Falls mother and her 4-year-old daughter appears in Warren County court Wednesday morning.

Bryan Redden, dressed in prison garb, officially pleaded not guilty to eight charges including first and second degree murder, grand larceny and tampering with evidence.

Redden is accused of killing 33-year-old Crystal Reilly and her 4-year-old daughter Lilly Frasier early Friday morning.

Police believe Redden slashed their throats, but have not provided a motive. The victim's family and friends have said publicly they don't know who Redden is.

He was arrested shortly after the incident in the victim's car and has been held without bail since the then. He remained quiet in court on Wednesday only speaking when the judge needed a response. He declined to seek bail. His next court appearance has not been set.

Crystal Reilly leaves behind two other children. A fundraiser will be held Sunday to help the family. It will be held from 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Sky Zone trampoline park in Queensbury.
