Cohoes police are investigating a hit-and-run accident.
Officers say it happened on Friday night between 10:15 and 10:30. A 56-year-old woman was hit by a car near the intersection of Main and Schuyler streets. Police say the driver of the car then fled the scene.
The suspect's car is described as a dark colored, newer sedan that may have damage to the front end. Anyone with information is asked to call the Cohoes Police Detective Bureau at (518) 233-2146.
