A Cohoes man charged for killing an intruder who entered his home earlier this month appeared in court Tuesday.

Shawn Rogowski was arrested on August 6 for endangering the welfare of a child when police say he fired a gun near an infant in order to kill an intruder who entered his home.

In court Tuesday, Rogowski was additionally charged with possession of marijuana, with court documents citing "evidence of illegal activity in the apartment prior to the incident."

Documents also show Rogowski admitted to selling drugs illegally the day before the shooting happened.
