ALBANY, N.Y. — Albany police are investigating an early morning shooting, where they say a man walked into an emergency room with a gunshot wound to his hand.

Police say the 25-year-old Troy man walked into Albany Memorial Hospital around 1:30 a.m. after being shot.

He told officers he was shot by an unknown suspect in the area of Tivoli Street and Broadway.

The man was treated for non-life threatening injuries.

The incident remains under investigation.
