An Albany police officer on suspension for violating an order of protection has been arrested again for the same charge.

Steven Silver turned himself in to Schenectady police Tuesday morning, after a warrant was issued for his arrest.

The criminal contempt charge alleges he violated an order of protection on May 23 in Niskayuna.

This comes with Silver already arrested and suspended for allegedly violating an order of production in August.

Investigations into both cases are ongoing, including an internal investigation by Albany police.
